Cranfield Professor announced as Non-Exec Director of Oxford to Cambridge Partnership

Cranfield University Pro Vice Chancellor and CEO of MK:U Professor Lynette Ryals OBE has been announced as one of two Non-Executive Directors for the Oxford to Cambridge Partnership.

She is joined by Dr Barbara Ghinelli, Director, Innovation Clusters and Harwell Campus, UKRI-Science and Technologies Facilities Council and both will take up the position from 1st September.

The Partnership will champion the Oxford to Cambridge region as a world leader of innovation and business, acting to achieve environmentally sustainable and inclusive growth that brings benefits to communities now and in the future. It will do so by bringing together people and organisations with the expertise, insights, and roles, to deliver innovative solutions to some of the most pressing challenges faced.

Dipesh J Shah OBE, the Partnership’s Chair, welcomed Barbara and Lynette. He said,

“I’m delighted that Barbara and Lynette are joining the Partnership Board. They bring a range of skills and experiences, as well as local knowledge, to the Partnership Board. I look forward to working with them in our shared endeavour across the Oxford the Cambridge region.”
