Plans have been submitted for a new £100m innovation campus on the land of former agrochemical factory site in Hauxton, Cambridge. The development, called Cambridge Discovery Campus, will be located on the site of the former Bayer CropScience

Discovery Park provides an opportunity to reinforce the city as a world leading life science location providing innovation space for small start up and medium-sized companies. The site is clustered around well established life science parks including Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge Science Park, The Babraham Institute, Wellcome Genome Campus and Granta Park.

The plans have been submitted by Foundation Capital Ventures a property investment and development company dedicated to delivering innovation space to support the growth of the knowledge economy. Their vision is to create world class destinations and centres of excellence which will enable those on the front line of science and technology to further their research for the benefit of all.
