The University of Oxford, University of Bedfordshire and The Open University have all been named in the recently published National Centre for Universities and Business Summer 2021 Report, for healthcare breakthroughs and advancements in the midst of a global pandemic.
The NCUB report highlights university and business collaboration which has enabled research findings to translate into better care for patients and populations.

other lifesaving, collaborative work that ordinarily would be celebrated, has been left in the shadows.
In this showcasing booklet, the NCUB features a collection of life-saving medical advancements, all of which have been worked on during the Covid-19 pandemic. Together, universities and businesses have uncovered why disease develops and have found new ways to treat, diagnose and prevent illnesses such as breast and prostate cancer, diabetes and malaria as well as advancing how we approach mental health issues.
