In November the Oxford to Cambridge Pan-Regional Partnership hosted the second All Partner Conference.
The event, hosted in Milton Keynes, brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including leaders from academia, government, and industry, to strengthen collaboration across the Oxford to Cambridge region. The event served as a platform for exploring innovative solutions to shared challenges, with a strong focus on sustainability and long-term regional prosperity.
A key highlight of the day was the inspiring presentation by Dr. Winifred A. Soribe and Professor Alistair Fitt, who shared insights from the Arc Universities Group (AUG) Student Summit 2024. This impactful summit brought together PhD students from the eight member universities of AUG alongside senior leaders, fostering dialogue and solutions around embedding sustainability across the Oxford-Cambridge region.
Winifred’s presentation emphasised the critical role of the next generation of researchers in shaping a sustainable future for the region. The Student Summit not only provided a platform for fresh perspectives but also demonstrated the power of collaboration in tackling pressing environmental challenges.
