Arc Universities

A symposium is being held at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge on 29th May 2024 for PhD and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) interested in place-based approaches and urban energy transitions.

The symposium provides the opportunity for participants to discuss their research and build their professional network. As the inaugural event of the Place-Based Urban Energy Transitions Knowledge Network, the symposium aims to build relationships and facilitate knowledge exchange between UK-based PhD and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) currently investigating urban energy transitions using place-based perspectives. The symposium will open with a Keynote Talk from Dr Helen Pallett. During the symposium, participants will have the opportunity to present their research and participate in discussions with others engaging with similar topics.

Travel to Cambridge (trains within the UK) and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed for all selected symposium participants. Following the symposium, we are planning to edit a special issue based upon the presentations and discussions at the event.
