MassChallenge, one of the world’s leading zero-equity startup accelerators, is now active in the Oxford to Cambridge region.
With BAE Systems as a founding corporate partner, MassChallenge UK is focused on scaling breakthrough ideas in perceptual intelligence, robotics, data-centric engineering, and next-gen autonomous vehicles. In 2025, the UK programmewill accelerate a cohort of 40 early-stage startups, scaling to 80 in 2026 – all supported through a model that takes no equity, charges no fees and awards non-dilutive cash prizes to top performers.
This move is part of MassChallenge’s global ambition to bring unprecedented impact, while continuing to be the most startup-friendly accelerator on the planet. Already proven in Boston, Switzerland, and Israel, the programme has helped over 3,000 startups raise €3.6 billion in funding and create more than 180,000 jobs.
By establishing a base in the region, MassChallenge aims to unlock local talent, boost the innovation ecosystem, and help position the UK as a global hub for AI and autonomy.
