Pitch-In (Promoting the Internet of Things (IoT) via Collaboration between HEIs and Industry) is putting on a series of free events during May to start disseminating learning from Pitch-In projects.  Funded by Research England, it aims to overcome barriers to knowledge exchange in IoT and involves Oxford, Cambridge, Sheffield and Newcastle Universities.

Pitch-In is putting on a series of events to disseminate learning from its projects.  The first event in on health and is on 28th April(register on Eventbrite Pitch-In health event).  The second is on low carbon energy systems event, is on 5th May (register on the Eventbrite Pitch-In energy event) and includes a keynote presentation from Prof Malcolm McCulloch on why IoT will be important for future low carbon energy systems as well as learning from four projects.  Later in May, there will be events on cities (12th) and on manufacturing (19th).
