Understanding how to tackle the grand challenges facing society has never been more urgent – and a postgraduate programme from Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and the Eden Project aims to do exactly that.

The pioneering MSc in Sustainability is recruiting for both full-time and part-time students starting this September. Delivered through a flexible online format, the course is enriched with five in-person residentials held at the Eden Project in Cornwall and ARU’s Cambridge campus. These immersive sessions provide students with the opportunity to engage with real-world case studies, expert speakers and like-minded peers from diverse professional and academic backgrounds.

Designed to be applied, adaptable and forward-looking, the MSc features fully customisable assignments, allowing students to explore sustainability issues that resonate most with their personal or professional interests – as well as a professional placement where students apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world situation. Students can opt for a one-year full-time programme or study part-time over two years.

Speaking about the impact of the course, a graduate shared:

“The course has re-ignited my confidence in going after a career that encompasses all that I love and have the qualities to do.”
